Rules

1. Age Requirement

   • Members must be 18+ to join Our Xenon Gaia; people within 1 month of turning 18 may be permitted to join.

2. Respect

   • Respect everyone within the server, regardless of status or ranking. Just be nice to each other.

   • If someone asks for a topic change or an image to be censored, please do so. Vice versa, we are all adults, be sure to know when it's appropriate to leave a situation. We should know how to set, respect, and know our own boundaries as well.

3. Proper Censoring

   • While talking about potentially triggering or sensitive topics, censor them with these || on both sides of the text. Before the spoiler text, write what is included. For example, t.w.: gore.

   • Topics that include hard drugs or any type of explicit abuse are strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated within the server.

   • Please do not censor scars within the server.

4. Activity

   • Players with no characters have 3 months to either create a character or let staff know whether or not they'd like to be moved to spectator. If staff aren't made aware, those without characters will be removed from the server.

   • Newly made spectators have 2 months to let staff know whether or not they're staying and making a character in the near future. If staff aren't made aware, inactive spectators will be removed.

   • Inactive roleplayers will be reached out to after 6 months of total inactivity. After those 6 months, if they do not respond, then they'll be given the wanderers role and their characters shall be archived. After 8 months of total inactivity, they will be downgraded to spectator. Their removal will follow spectator conventions.

   • This gives Roleplayers 10 Months to regain activity before removal.

5. Minimoddding

   • Staff word is final, please do not argue with the staff.

   • Try not to answer any questions that are directed at staff. We appreciate the help! But unless directing them towards something prewritten or assigned as their server guide please leave the questions to staff to avoid misinformation!

6. Cursing and Language

   • In Our Xenon Gaia, cursing is allowed, but not in surplus. Slurs will not be tolerated, this will result in an instant ban. Do not use slurs in OXG even if reclaimed.

7. Advertising and Art Policies

   • Advertising other Servers is not allowed. Please visit Partner Rules with further inquiries.

   • Advertising Art, Writing, Social Media, and other services are allowed to verified members.

   • Art must be credited, Made for you, or Made by you, or it will be promptly removed and you will be removed from the server.

   • Do not beg for free commissions, or vice versa, for people to commission you.

   • OXG is not responsible for any scams or loss of real currency; please commission at your discretion.

8. Art Crediting

   • Again. All Art used must be credited, and owned by you; theft, tracing, and using art that hasn't been purchased by you is prohibited. We will check. OXG does not condone the use of AI art and images, We try hard to filter this out of our server.

9. NSFW and Harassment

   • OXG is notorious for its atmosphere of comfortable joking amongst adults. However, explicit NSFW material is not allowed outside of ID-verified channels. Please be aware when entering that we are an SFW server, but we are all still adults.

   • Witch Hunts, Stalking, Threats, and the like are not tolerated within the server. Leave your drama at the door.

10. Venting and Ranting

    • Venting is not allowed within Our Xenon Gaia. If you feel the need to vent, please seek out a friend in DMS. You will be asked to stop if you vent in the server.

    • Discussions about more mature topics should be reserved for the Casino (the ID-verified channels).

11. PluralKit

    • Please do not use this bot for roleplay, no ifs, ands, or "I've done it in different servers." It is not allowed here. Pluralkit is strictly for ease of access for systems that join the server.

1. Literacy

• We are a semi-literate server.  Please follow standard capitalization rules, role-play in the third person, and use quotations when starting the dialogue, and do not italicize or over-stylize responses. Responses should be readable for all parties.

2. Character Slots

• OXG Permits 3 Free character slots. After the first three, you can buy more via the shop, there is no limit! However, inactive characters will be removed!

• To remove a character, just ask! We will find a way to blip them out of existence if they have been used.

3. Kits and Pregnancy

• Characters cannot join the roleplay pregnant, and we cut birth completely from the roleplay. Because of our plot, this would cause complications. Young characters are taken care of by the group as a collective and must be 6 Months or older.

• It is heavily recommended that your first character is not a baby; try a young adolescent age instead!

4. Meta, God Modding, and Power Play

• Characters in OXG have their own set of uncanny abilities. It is encouraged that you have fun with them! Just be aware that with our TTRPG elements, you will be taking damage, ask if you'd like to seriously hurt an NPC or other player characters, and please keep character knowledge realistic!

5. Roleplay Slots, Pacing, and Timing

• Our Xenon Gaia operates on a month-by-month pace. Characters will age by the mentioned month jump at the start of the next roleplay session. OXG is a fast-paced roleplay during sessions! So please schedule time to be available, as OXG will schedule around its members to start campaigns!

• Otherwise, we work on Fluid time, Characters can be a part of 3 threads at a time! After 30 days of inactivity, old roleplays will no longer be available for income collection! Solo Roleplays fall under the same boat but are also encouraged for character exploration!

6. Roleplay Headers and Titling

• When doing a roleplay add a header to your roleplay! This can be decorated how you want as long as they're screen-reader friendly! An example of one would be below!

• Otherwise, when labeling the days your character is in, go by your discretion. Staff suggestion is to start from day one of each new Chapter and add from there!

7. Role Classes

• Though Our Xenon Gaia has no roles like warrior, leader, or herbalist, we do have role classes much like a DND campaign would. Your character can have both a role class and a character build, ranging from Assassin to Healer, Bruiser, to Support!

8. Plot Events

• Every character in OXG is going to get a chance to shine! In Our Xenon Gaia, we like to focus on each character as much as possible during plots, be loud in your voice, and make some unruly decisions! OXG is a team-based roleplay. Whatever you do may affect the whole group in a big way. Have fun with it! Make sure to discuss with your fellow roleplayers too!
