This section covers a wide variety of creative choices people can make when creating a character visually. Creativity is your only limitation; however, when making your character, you should steer away from designs that alter the cat's body structure, which can be explained by. necks that are too long (mimicking a giraffe, camel, or alpaca), Horns that are too big or heavy for the body structure of the feline, changing the structure of the nose and mouth (no beaks, or mosquito-like protrusions). In short, all characters should read as a cat with added mutational elements; if the design goes so far that the cat no longer reads as a cat, it will not be accepted. Animals that are bred unethically or struggle to survive due to human intervention in breeding cannot be used. Staff is always available for more questions, and be sure to check out our Master List!
These feline species are what OUR XENON GAIA is built upon; they are the most common, and your first character is always one of these 3 cats.

Our newest unlocked mutation, and our most unique one! Felis flora is less a mutation, and more a parasitic growth. They are creatures who due to unluckiness, have been born unmutated. These often weak and sickly cats seem to fuse with plants that surround them. However, this is beneficial and many cats learn to embraxce their newfound plant-like abilities.
All plants allowed!
Interested in making a character that isn't a simple cat? Well, don't worry, these unique mutations expand to many animals, and with a non-cat character slot (which can be bought in our shop) you may create a non-cat oc. Located within the server we have a large masterlist of what different animals are allowed. An animal not on the list? Ask the staff, and there's was chance it will be added.
Any wild cat that is equal too or lesser than the size a bobcat is allowed to be a character! Granted like Non-Feline Characters, these are locked behind a bought shop item.
Canine characters are a unique matter in OXG. They are allowed yes and are catogorized as a "Non- Feline Character". However, strangely it seems whatever is causing the other animals around to mutate, does not do the same to any canine characters. Due to this, canine characters may not mutate with any animal BESIDES Floras. A canine mutated with plants is classified as Canis Botanist.
