Our Lady of Mercy Academy endeavors to maintain an atmosphere that is conductive to learning, research and relaxation. Forthis reason, library users are expected to conform to certain standards of conduct to maintain the use and enjoyment of the library by others.
The following conduct is not permitted within the library:
Loud talking or laughing.
Running.
Blocking or interfering with the free movement of other individuals.
Theft, mutilation or defacement of library property, including books, periodicals, encyclopedias, or anything else contained in the library's collection.
Overt sexual behavior.
Offensive or obscene language or actions.
Do not bring bags, big envelopes, folder, etc., except wallet and other valuable things.
Any inquiries regarding subjects of information which could not be found could be directed to be librarian for assistance.
As you leave the library, push your chair properly and present your things to the librarian.
A quite atmosphere facilities concentration and proper thinking. Everyone then, is encouraged for help maintain SILENCE within the library hall and corridor.
Refrain fro inserting ballpen, notebooks and other thick obejcts between the pages of the book or avoid breaking its spine.
Avoid making dog ears on its pages. Instead, use a book marker or a piece of paper.
A fine Php 5.00 / day is imposed for books not returned on the date stated by the librarian.
Three over dues will result to withdrawal of library privilages.
A book lost while on loan should be reaported as soon as possible to the librarian so that the overdue fines will not increase but it must be replaced by another book.
