Biographies

Ever since her childhood, Carol Longfellow has loved writing poetry. Until she discovered the Instagram poetry community, she had only been writing poems for her family. Instagram gave her the freedom to express herself in a way that her job as a carer could not. She loves elfchens, but is exploring her potential for writing short stories too. Carol is her pen name and it gives her the freedom to pour out thoughts, feelings and observations on life without being restricted. Most of her poems are her personal experiences which she hopes others will be able to relate to, but she writes fictional content as well. She also enjoys writing to prompts and participating in collaborations.

Catherine Martin is passionate about photography, poetry and writing fiction. Whenever she creates anything, emotions of life pour into her art. She gets inspired by beautiful hikes with family and friends as well as her huskies.

Since 2017, Celeste Tsang has been writing poetry. Over time, her writing style has changed. Initially, she would write darker pieces because it helped her get through difficult periods. But more recently, her writing has been about magical elements in the mundane. Most of her works are a tribute to life, nature and poetry itself.

Originally from Florida, Christina Triplett-Wagenknecht lives in Germany with her husband since 2008. She is a published poet who has been featured on various poetry sites and has co- authored several poetry anthologies namely—Wild Butterflies, PHOENIX: a Queen born of fire, Poetry Pills: a prescription for love and Mind: A poetry anthology exploring mental health. She's the founder of a popular prompt game, called “Prompt-A-Palooza“ under @promptapalooza. She has also invented a poetry form called The Triptych Triplett, which can be found on her Instagram profile, @ladyleighpoetry.

Christina Woodcock first began writing at the age of ten. Inspired by her love for reading and the occasional maladaptive daydream, she’d hoped to one day add her voice to the eclectic and diverse stories she so admired. She began writing poetry and short stories as a form of self- expression at first, but later it helped her process trauma as well as cope with chronic pain. She then started to share more of her thoughts and art with the world through Instagram and various writing outlets. Aside from hoarding various publications, her hobbies include—collecting crystals, reading tarot cards, and a few hopeful attempts at gardening. She currently resides in Virginia with her husband of twelve years, two children, and an assortment of four-legged pets.

Cory Decker is a poet and writer. He lives in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada with his wife and two children. A lover of nature, he can often be found on a beach or in the trees.

When Cynthia Padilla was still in school, she discovered her love for writing. She would enjoy writing short fictional stories for class and this would continue throughout her university and law school years. But she would only begin to write poetry after she joined Instagram. Professionally, she is a lawyer, researcher, and copywriter with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Juris Doctor in International Law. Additionally, several articles of hers—on history, law, and medicine—have been published in trade magazines and corporate websites. Her other interests include travel, reading, and music. She believes that lyrics are simply poems set ready for music. She is an avid vinyl collector and also has a vinyl collecting Instagram account.
