Behavior Policy
When children begin daycare, we reserve the right to decide if the child cannot continue daycare due to behaviors that hurt or harm their children or teachers, cause total chaos in the classroom, disrupt routines beyond what is normal, have mental or physical issues that prevent us from being able to properly care for the child, or exhibit continual behaviors that we cannot get under control such as, but not limited to: biting, hitting, scratching, cursing, and disrespect. All children are admitted on a two-week trail period.
God and His Place at Our Children
Our Children is owned and managed by very imperfect followers of God. Our Children pray before every meal. Our facility, teachers, and children are prayed for daily. Our Children Preschool will learn Bible verses, songs, and pray for their family and friends as needed. We believe that God guides and protects Our Children. We will never push anything on your children. We just want you to know and understand that your children will have a certain amount of exposure to our faith!
Sick children cannot attend daycare. You cannot mask a fever with Tylenol and Motrin and bring your child to daycare. It spreads germs and the fever returns. Rashes and skin conditions can be tricky. Some are contagious are some are not. Most need to be looked at by a doctor to ensure it is not contagious. The daycare reserves the right to require a doctor's note when unsure about any condition. Diarrhea and vomiting can be a problem if persistent. Children cannot stay at daycare if it is repeated throughout they day. Pink eye is very contagious and requires medical treatment. Head lice are contagious and can spread. Children are not allowed at daycare with lice or nits. Children need to stay home for 24 hours before returning if picked up for illness.
Parents/Guardians have a code to enter the center.
The center has 15 cameras that record all movement within the center and grounds.
Children must be signed in and out by the person dropping them off and picking them up daily.
ID will be checked if the adult picking up child is not recognized.
Each playground is designed for a specific age-group and cannot be used by others.
All playgrounds are fenced and have self-locking devices. The fences were replaced in October 2024 with higher, non- see through fencing.
A safety plan is in place for any issue in every classroom.
Fire drills are performed monthly.
When arriving, children must be supervised by the adult who brought them. They cannot just be dropped off.
They have to be signed in by an adult.
The supervising adult must walk into the classroom with the child and wash their hands if they plan to stay for over three minutes.
The adult should make verbal contact with the teacher to make sure they are aware of their arrival.
Parents are responsible for moniotoring and keeping children safe in the parking lot.
