Over his 18 months in Student Congress, Marcus Johnson proudly improved students' experiences
by writing and sponsoring the following Congress Bills and Resolutions:
CB 66-20. Established a Student Congress liaison to the Center for Multicultural Initiatives (CMI).
CB 66-21. Allocated $2,750 in funding to SAGE's annual Drag Show in 2024.
CB 66-29. Directed the Director of Sustainability to host an annual Repair Cafe event for students.
CR 66-10. Rebuked University Housing for inadequate notice of changes to ID card policy.
CR 66-14. Formally supported the effort to establish a Women's Resource Center.
CR 66-19. Implored University administration to improve working conditions for graduate students.
CB 67-19. Provided $1,800 in funding to the CMI's annual Taste of Africa event in 2025.
CR 67-04. Supported the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) in collective bargaining with University administration.
CR 67-09. Defended the Center for Multicultural Initiatives (CMI), the Gender and Sexuality Center (GSC), Disability Support Services (DSS), Academic Success Center (ASC), and Veterans Support Services (VSS).
