How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate and provide the Ottomate CT SMS automation service, to send and receive SMS messages on behalf of our business clients to their customers who have opted in, to respond to inquiries and provide customer support, to maintain records of SMS opt-in consent as required by law and carrier regulations, and to comply with legal obligations.
SMS Messaging and Consent
Phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent data are collected solely to operate the SMS messaging service.
We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent data with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Opt-in consent data is never shared with third-party marketers under any circumstance. All SMS opt-in records and associated consent data are kept private and are used only to operate the SMS program.
We may share information with subcontractors and service providers (such as our SMS gateway provider, Twilio, and our database provider, Supabase) only as necessary to deliver the service, and only under strict confidentiality obligations.
Your Choices and Opt-Out
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After replying STOP, you will receive one confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out, and no further SMS messages will be sent to your phone number. To get help, reply HELP to any message.
You may also contact us using the information below to request that we delete your information or update your preferences.
Data Retention
We retain SMS opt-in consent records for the period required by applicable law and carrier regulations, including a minimum of ten years for recipients in states such as Virginia where required. Other personal information is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service or as required by law.
Children's Privacy
Ottomate CT is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
