The OMSC is pleased to be able to offer funding to some out-of-town participants: up to 15 participants can expect to receive between $300-$500 each to attend the conference. Funding is prioritized for students giving presentations or participating in the Three Minute Thesis competition, and will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

To request funding to attend the conference, simply indicate this on your registration form. You will be contacted within two weeks of registration with more information on your funding status. There will be certain restrictions on how your funding may be spent; more details will be provided when we contact you. Participants wishing to be considered for financial support must register by April 28th 2024 (extended deadline).
