Up to 8 meals will be provided as part of the registration fee.
Thursday evening: The club’s kitchen will be open for cash purchases.
Friday: Breakfast - continental. Lunch - hot pasta buffet from La BOTTEGA. Dinner - pizza from Gabriel's Pizza.
Saturday: Breakfast - hot buffet breakfast from Take Another Bite. Lunch - light deli lunch. Dinner - banquet meal from Take Another Bite.
Sunday: Breakfast - continental. Lunch - combination of a light lunch and the club’s kitchen will be open for cash purchases
Complimentary coffee will be available each morning.
A variety of complimentary table snacks will be provided throughout the weekend.
The club’s bar will be open for the whole weekend. It accepts cash, debit and credit. There is no ATM at the club. Bottled water is available for sale at the bar. The club also provides cups and tap water at the bar. Bottled water dispensers are located inside the rink alongside the ice surface.
Teams will receive “Bar Bucks” with their team bag at reception, which can be used at the bar during the weekend.
The bonspiel banquet will be held at the club on Saturday evening and is included in the registration fee. The service will be buffet style and seating for diners will be in the main lounge. There will be two assigned seating times at 4:45-6:15 and 6:45-8:15 PM. Teams will know their assigned seating period on Saturday afternoon once qualifier results are available.
There will be a small number (approximately 10-12) of guest banquet tickets available for sale for both banquet seating times on a first come first served basis at $40 each. Please email bonspiel@rainbowrockers.ca to request a ticket and for additional instructions.
The banquet will include a 30-minute keynote guest speaking during each of the two seating times. This year's keynote guest is Chelsea Carey, a Canadian champion and fan favourite.
A robust and varied entertainment package is planned for the weekend and is spread throughout each day and evening.
Thursday evening will include in-house music involving the bonspiel theme Fabulous and Famous: Experience the Oscars!
Friday from 12:00-12:30 is the on-ice opening ceremonies. It includes a parade of teams onto the ice along with sponsor representatives and bonspiel organizers and volunteers. Our keynote guest for the weekend and other special guests will be on hand to throw the ceremonial first rock.
Friday daytime will include some fun games and playing cards and board games will be available.
Friday night party involving the theme Fabulous and Famous: Experience the Oscars! Get your best outfits ready and be prepared to take part in the Red Carpet Walk from 8 to 9 PM and face the paparazzi. More information will follow in November on The Red Carpet Walk. After that, from 9 PM to 1 AM it's music and dancing with DJ PowrHaus spinning great tunes.
Saturday from noon to 3:00 PM will see the return of Beats’n Keys. The duo were very popular in 2024 and 2025 and will be back to provide superb music as the pool games conclude and the first playoff games get underway.
Saturday evening will feature two 30-minute chat and Q&A sessions (one after each banquet sitting) with our keynote guest for the bonspiel, Canadian champion and fan favourite, Chelsea Carey.
Saturday night will feature the ever popular karaoke. It is a chance for curlers to show their off-ice talents. Hosted this year by Jolene of Treehouse Karaoke.
Sunday afternoon will see the closing ceremony at 2:15-2:45 PM and the awards ceremony at 5:00-6:00 PM. Please join us at the club for both these ceremonies. The ceremonies will also be broadcast live on the RRCL YouTube channel.
The bonspiel has not partnered with a host hotel this year. Instead, we are providing a summary of hotel options in the downtown core that are near the curling club. Airbnb and misterb&b are options too, with many locations in and near to downtown core.
The host club is the Ottawa Curling Club. It is the proud home of the Rainbow Rocker’s Curling League and the home of national and international champions, Team Homan.
There are 29 parking spots in front of and alongside the club. There are also street and paid parking lot options nearby. Please check the club’s website for details on parking.
The men’s locker room is in the basement and the women’s upstairs. There are no vacant lockers available during the weekend. There is sufficient space in the locker rooms to change and plenty of hooks to hang clothing. The club has a small pro-shop on site, with a limited inventory of equipment, that will be available during the weekend.

A reception table will be open on Thursday evening and Friday morning. Please check in on arrival at the club. A team bag will be provided at check in, along with various food and beverage vouchers.

50/50 draws and Where's Oscar draws will be held throughout the weekend. Cash, debit or credit can be used.
A raffle table will be set up and raffle tickets sold during Friday and Saturday. There will be a large number and variety of items available at a range of prices. Cash, debit or credit can be used.
Each team member will receive a ballot in their team bag to nominate another team that best represents the spirit of curling. Ballots will be turned in before the banquet. The Spirit of Curling Prize recipient team will be announced at the end of the banquet.
