Get ready to sweep into fun! The Over the Rainbow Bonspiel (OTRB) is back for an exciting weekend of curling, food, drinks, and socializing.

Hosted by the Rainbow Rockers Curling League at the Ottawa Curling Club in Ottawa, ON, this popular bonspiel runs from Thursday, January 22nd to Sunday, January 25th, 2026.

This year’s theme is Fabulous and Famous: Experience the Oscars!

Get ready for an exciting weekend that combines thrilling on-ice curling action with a fantastic off-ice social experience! This is your perfect chance to hit the ice and then unwind with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and plenty of fun activities.

Reconnect with old friends and make new ones in a lively atmosphere. We've packed the weekend with opportunities to socialize and enjoy good company. Don't miss out on this fantastic blend of curling and camaraderie!

Registration Window

Online registration opens at 8 PM Eastern on Sunday, October 19th, 2025, and closes at 8 PM Eastern on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025. There are spots for 40 teams.

Registration Fee

Team entry is $600, with an option to add a 5th player for an additional $100.

The fee includes:

4 games guaranteed (3 pool play and 1 playoff)
8 delicious meals and snacks throughout the weekend, including the banquet meal
Bar bucks for refreshing drinks and drink specials
Exciting entertainment
Fun games, prizes, and giveaways, plus more surprises!

Team Confirmations and Waitlist

You'll be able to find out if your team has been confirmed, or if you're on the waiting list, starting at 8 PM Eastern on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025. This information will be announced online on the bonspiel website.

Prize Payouts

A Division: Winner: $1,000.00 & Runner Up: $850.00

B Division: Winner: $850.00 & Runner Up: $750.00

C Division: Winner: $750.00 & Runner Up: $650.00

D Division: Winner: $650.00 & Runner Up: $500.00

E Division: Winner: $500.00 & Runner Up: $400.00

There will also be prize payouts for semi-finalists.
