Get ready to sweep into fun! The Over the Rainbow Bonspiel (OTRB) is back for an exciting weekend of curling, food, drinks, and socializing.

Hosted by the Rainbow Rockers Curling League at the Ottawa Curling Club in Ottawa, ON, this popular bonspiel runs from Thursday, January 22nd to Sunday, January 25th, 2026.

This year’s theme is Fabulous and Famous: Experience the Oscars!

Get ready for an exciting weekend that combines thrilling on-ice curling action with a fantastic off-ice social experience! This is your perfect chance to hit the ice and then unwind with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and plenty of fun activities.

Reconnect with old friends and make new ones in a lively atmosphere. We've packed the weekend with opportunities to socialize and enjoy good company. Don't miss out on this fantastic blend of curling and camaraderie!

Bonspiel Special Guest

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Canadian Champion and fan favourite, Chelsea Carey, will be joining us for the entire Over the Rainbow Bonspiel weekend!

Curlers will have opportunities to see, hear from and speak with Chelsea at various time during the bonspiel weekend:

Throwing the ceremonial first rock.
Delivering the keynote Q&A session at our banquet dinner.
Providing expert commentary for some of our live-streamed games.
Mixing and mingling with all curlers during the weekend.

Don’t miss your chance to share the ice, stories, and laughs with one of the sport’s greats. This is going to be a weekend to remember!

Thursday Evening: Get into the spirit with our in-house music featuring the best tunes from Oscar-winning movies.
Friday:
- Noon: The official Opening Ceremony.
- Afternoon: Join in the fun playing Team Games featuring Curling Pong, Dart Toss and Mini Putt.
- Evening: Red Carpet Walk Competition & Dance Party! Dawn your outfit, strike a pose and compete against the other teams on the Red Carpet Walk and then hit the dance floor with the incredible DJ PowrHaus!
Saturday:
- Mid-day: Catch the smooth sounds of Beats’N Keys!
- Evening: Enjoy our banquet dinner with a very special guest: Canadian champion and fan favourite, Chelsea Carey! The night ends with ever popular karaoke hosted by Jolene—get ready to sing your heart out!
Sunday:
- 2:15 PM: Closing Ceremony.
- 5:00 PM: Awards Ceremony.
