Health Home & treatment services are important to understand because the service levels directly impact staffing patterns. These levels were created when the program began in October 2013, at which time we were serving approximately 1,500 clients. In January 2014, with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act in Rhode Island, the client census increased by nearly 50%.
