Parliament meets once a month on Wednesday evenings, where the action heats up on the back patio at McGee’s. But the excitement doesn’t stop there—they’re buzzing with activity outside of meetings too, connecting through Google Group emails and texts.
Originally launched as a Dad's Club to ramp up fatherly involvement in kids’ education, Parliament has evolved into an inclusive powerhouse open to everyone who’s passionate about making a difference. They’re a driving force behind many of our most dynamic events and programs.
Here’s what makes Parliament truly exceptional:
They orchestrate at least two epic special events each year that you simply can’t miss.
Their legendary Terror Tent at Carnival is a must-see, with jaw-dropping setups that attract huge crowds.
They serve up thousands of meals annually, feeding our community with love and dedication.
It’s the perfect spot to mix, mingle, and enjoy a drink while networking with fellow parents.
If you’re all about event planning, constructing fantastic projects, rallying volunteers, grilling up a storm, and forging new friendships, Parliament is where you need to be!
Parliament meetings are held at 8:30pm at McGee's (1645 Park Street)
