Position Details

• Initial one-year appointment with expected annual renewal for up to two years based on performance.

• Position for the sponsored research projects are available immediately, but the start date is flexible.

• Competitive salary based on candidate's experience.

• Specific research areas are open and subject to agreement between the candidate and the PI, but these must align with the vision and goals of the QMEIIACS lab.

Minimum Qualifications

1. We are looking for highly motivated and creative candidates holding a Post Graduate Degree in a field relevant to an area of research in the QMEIIACS lab are encouraged to apply.

2. Solid foundational knowledge in their primary subject area, with a willingness to engage with and learn about allied disciplines.

3. Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to disseminate scholarly findings through peer-reviewed publications.

4. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, showing initiative and resourcefulness.

Desired Qualifications

1. Solid foundations in mathematics or data science.

2. Demonstrated ability to conduct research at the edge of disciplinary boundaries.

3. Experience working in a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary research team.

4. Experience with grant writing or proposal development for research funding.
