OSFS-Meca2023 (1st seminar) - OPEN SOURCE & FREE SOFTWARE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

After the success of the OSFSD-2022, the scientific committee decided to organize a specialized scientific event, which aims to focus on the application of this kind of code and software in the field of applied mechanics. OSFS-Meca 2023 is mainly interested in scientific work in which open source codes, free software, original programs (code) and programming supports that allow users to map and solve complex problems. The main purpose of OSFS-Meca2023 is to bring together the national community of the Open Source software, and to raise awareness among all researchers, PhD students and academics of the interest to effectively use this kind of solution. 

OSFSD2022 (1st workshop) - Open Source & Free Software Day

OSFSD-2022 is the first scientific day on free and open source software that will take place on the 23rd of March 2022, at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology – University of Tissemsilt. The manifestation is organized by the Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) and in partnership with the Applied Mechanics Laboratory (LMA) of the Faculty of Mechanics, University of Sciences and Technology, Mohamed Boudiaf, Oran.

The objective of the scientific day is to promote the use of free/open source software and the sensitization of the academic community on intellectual property in order to reduce the use of non-original (illegal) versions.
