We started off our second week by going to our work placement in the crèche. During our second week we started at 9am each morning in the crèche, every morning the children greeted us with hugs. It was a wonderful work placement and we truly loved it. After work placement during the week we visited lots of sites and little cafes and restaurants that our host family recommended. We visited Parco Naturale dei Laghi di Avigliana and Superga Città Metropolitana di Torino with our host family one evening after placement. After our sightseeing we went to a pizzeria with our host family for dinner that evening also. As it Valentine’s Day during the week we participated in art and crafts with the kids in the crèche. One evening we also played a few rounds of cards with our host family after dinner.

During the second weekend we took the train to Milan and stayed one night. The apartment that we booked was a stone throw away from the Duomo.

We visited all the high end shops and went to a lovely restaurant where I got sea food spaghetti. The next day we went for breakfast in a lovely bakery next to our apartment, we then got the train home to get ready for our trip to Puglia.
