Teresa Palma Rodrigues
Teresa Palma Rodrigues (Lisbon, 1978) lives and works in Lisbon.
She holds a BFA and a MFA in Painting from Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon. She received a PhD in Painting also from the Faculty of Fine-Arts of the University of Lisbon (2017) with a thesis entitled “Zona V (de Vago)”.
Has regularly exhibited since 2000 and participated in group exhibitions in Brazil (I Ciclo da Fotografia Portuguesa no Brasil – MuMA, Curitiba, 2013), Ireland (Link Culturefest, Dublin, 2012), Mozambique, Spain, France and Italy. Her work was part of the exhibition POVOpeople (2010) at the Electricity Museum, Portugal.
Selected solo exhibitions: “Seguindo a espera de um vazio”, Sala do Veado (MUHNAC, Lisbon); “Um Lugar Guardado”, Fábrica das Histórias | Casa Jaime Umbelino (Torres Vedras) and “Novas Poesias de Chelas”, Culture and Arts Centre of Ponte de Sor.
