The seminar will take place approximately every four weeks on Wednesdays at 3pm UTC+2 (Europe time: 3pm,
Point processes are stochastic processes generating a random number of objects in interaction. These objects can be time events, points in space, combination of these or more general objects. Here are a few topics we intend to cover in this seminar:
Spatial point processes: modelling, statistical inference, simulation.
Spatio-temporal point processes.
Point processes on linear networks, non-Euclidean spaces
Visualization and computational issues regarding spatial and spatio-temporal data.
Sampling and discrete point processes, such as discrete determinantal point processes.
Point processes and random fields.
Point processes and extremes.
The seminars are held on Zoom and last 60 minutes:
45 minutes of presentation
15 minutes of discussion, questions.
Moderators collect questions using the Zoom chat feature during and/or after the seminar.
Instructions for attendees can be found [here].
