Biodiesel Purification
The purification stage plays an important role in determining the quality of biodiesel. Most of the costs of biodiesel production are incurred at this refining stage. This is the background to the need for an efficient method in the purification process, one of which is by utilizing electric current in the purification process. This research was conducted to find out the relationship between distance and voltage on biodiesel quality based on SNI 7182:2015. 5. The research results show that there is a significant influence on the use of electric current in the biodiesel refining process

Conducted a literature study regarding the relationship between the use of electrocoagulation in biodiesel purification
Carry out laboratory tests on the quality characteristics of purified biodiesel using the electrocoagulation method following the SNI 7182:2015 test standards
Conducting trial and error testing of optimal variables for biodiesel purification using the electrocoagulation method

The use of voltage can increase the speed of purification impact on the cost of biodiesel production
Utilization of electric current is capable of producing biodiesel purification efficiency of up to 90% with biodiesel quality that meets SNI biodiesel parameters.
Can be a reference in using electric current for biodiesel purification
