For Endorsement / Certification / Resolution from Appropriate Authority, kindly refer to the document required for each sub-classification:
In-School Youth Organization – Certificate of Registration or Recognition from a competent authority supervising student affairs
Community-based Youth Organization – Certificate of Recognition or Resolution of Endorsement from the Barangay Council or Sangguniang Kabataan
Faith-based Youth Organization – Certificate of Registration or Recognition from any head/pastor of congregation or parish priest
Consortium / Federation - Certificate of Registration or Recognition issued by the secretariat/board
Out-of-School Organization – Certificate of Registration or Recognition from the City Social Welfare and Development Office
Special Advocacy-based Organization – Certificate of Registration or Recognition from the Board, Secretariat, Founder, or a competent authority / agency
Cultural Identity-based Organization – Certificate of Registration or Recognition from a competent authority or agency (ex. National Commission on Indigenous Peoples, Muslim Youth Affairs)
Make sure all items on the forms are duly filled out. Do not leave anything blank. Write "N/A"if not applicable.
Don’t forget to affix your signatures on the documents on items needed.
Save the documents in PDF format except for Form B (should be in excel format). You do not have to compress all forms in one document.
Check if your organization has previously registered in YORP. You may contact Oro Youth to check your registration history.
Regularly check your emails and Oro Youth’s social media posts for any updates.
For offline submission: All printed requirements and attachments shall be submitted and received by any staff at the Oro Youth Development Office.
Once your registration documents are complete, reviewed, and verified, the OYDO will release a Certificate of Local Registration valid for three (3) years. This will be sent to your organization's email address. A hard copy may be claimed at the Oro Youth Development Office. Once the 3-year registration expires, you must renew your registration. Your organization is required to submit an Annual Accomplishment Report every December 15 via bit.ly/OroYouthAR with the file name “AR (YEAR) – NAME OF ORGANIZATION”. Non-submission of required documents shall be a ground for revocation of Certificate of Local Registration. (You may start submitting next year.)
The Oro Youth Development Office (OYDO) will include your organization in its database. The Sectoral Representative of the Oro Youth Development Council shall keep in touch with your organization’s official representative for meetings and upcoming activities.
Your organization shall designate an official representative. They will represent your organization during the Oro Youth Leaders Convergence, a yearly congress of all registered youth organizations and youth-serving organizations in the city.
Qualifications of the Official Representative:
a. A citizen of the Philippines
b. A resident of Cagayan de Oro City for not less than one year
c. At least 15 years old but not more than 30 years old
d. Able to read and write Filipino, English, or the local dialect
e. Not have been convicted by final judgment of any crime involving moral turpitude.
