MISSION AND VISION
Mission
The Orono Women's Lacrosse (OWL) program is dedicated to providing athletes with a program that encourages growth as individuals and leaders. Coaches will create opportunities for athletes to develop through individual and team instruction, competition, and peer mentoring. OWL will foster teamwork, leadership, commitment, sportsmanship, and competition.
Vision
This season, OWL will build a successful, competitive reputation while fostering a positive and caring team environment; a program that promotes enthusiam for lacrosse and one that girls are proud to represent.
GAME SCHEDULE
The 2024 season will begin on April 1, 2024. Games are now listed on the Calendar page and also viewable via a direct link to Metro West Conference Schedule.

First Week Scrimmage - Saturday April 6 - Varsity will be all day at Chaska and JV will be half day at Home

PRESEASON OPPORTUNTIES
Preseason Strength and Conditioning: NEW offering for preseason strength and conditioning at the Long Lake Dome starting January 15 - CLICK HERE for details!
Open Gym Wall Ball: The Orono Middle School Gym B is open for wall ball on Wednesday nights from 8pm to 9pm - see Calendar Page!
CAPTAINS PRACTICE INFORMATION
Captains Practices will happen at the Long Lake Dome prior to tryout week. Schedule is finalized below. Payment is due at first captains practice.
Monday, March 4 - 3:00 to 4:30pm
Friday, March 8 - 3:00 to 4:30pm
Monday, March 11 - 3:00 to 4:30pm
Friday, March 15 - 3:00 to 4:30pm
Monday, March 18 - 3:00 to 4:30pm
Tuesday, March 19 - 5:00 to 6:30pm
Thursday, March 21 - 8:30 to 9:30pm
Season Begins with Tryouts - April 1
Cost is $90/player. Captains Practices will also listed on the Calendar Page.
