Outcome

This project, titled OriginMark, uses fabric swatches representing culturally significant patterns and textiles from around the world. Each swatch features a handmade-inspired label that reads “With Respect To...” followed by the culture it honors. A QR code accompanies the label, intended to provide further educational resources about the culture, its history, and the significance of the design. The work emphasizes respect for cultural traditions while promoting ethical acknowledgment in fashion. It serves as a proposed universal system for brands to integrate cultural awareness and transparency into their designs.
