Learning Activities

Learning Activity 1

The Nine Principles Framework is used to guide organizational improvement. Reflecting on challenges within your practice environment describe how you could use one (or more) of these principles as part of change for your practice concern. Alternatively, share any previous change you experienced within your organization where components of this framework may have been utilized. What worked and what could have been done differently?

Learning Activity 2

Use the building blocks of staff engagement Studer et al., (2014) discussed in their paper and provide an example you think would work for you and your workplace or something you have already been a part of that has worked to build staff engagement.

Learning Activity 3

Many organizations utilize the Studer Initiatives Five Pillars framework, which are Service, Quality, People, Finance, and Growth.  Consider your current or previous organizations; which would be considered the strongest pillar within that organization and why?  More information on the pillars can be found here.
