Now that you have decided to attend school at Oregon State University, here are a few things you should keep in mind before you board the flight:

• Get Straight pin plugs adapters.

• If you are getting a phone from India, check if it's going to work in the US. 5G and LTE bandwidths are sometimes different (https://willmyphonework.net/).

• Its advised to carry a pair of traditional wear. 

• Look up terminal maps for any transit airports (London Heathrow can get tricky at times, personal experience). 

• Try not to bring rice, meat, fruits, seeds in any form, you can buy them here (I lost jeera and my friends had to leave rice during immigration). 

• If you are bringing more than one bag (which mostly is the case), keep some clothes and essentials in both bags. 

• Sleep well before your flight (it can be hard, but try).
