Does Oregon State follow a semester or term-based calendar?
OSU follows a term based system consisting 4 terms; Fall (Sep-Dec), Winter (Jan-Mar), Spring (Apr-Jun) and Summer (Jul-Sep).
How much does it cost per term?
Information about the tuition fee can be found here. There are additional costs that include Student Health Insurance, Building Fees, Incidental Fee, Counseling Service Fees etc.
I am looking for accommodation in Corvallis. How do I go about it?
All properties have an application process that needs to be completed along with the supporting documents. Most properties open their application around spring (April). As soon as you have finalized coming to Oregon State, it is advised to explore housing options. More information can be found on the Housing page under the Incoming Students tab.
I do not have a car/bike. What are the modes of transport available to me in Corvallis?
You can use public transport (CTS bus service) for a free ride or any Car Rental service (Enterprise, Hertz, Budget, Avis, etc.) For transportation to/from OSU, you can use CTS bus service or Saferide (7 pm to 2:30 am), which is an OSU-managed service free for all students.
