President
Paige is the 2025-2026 President of the Student Bar Association. Originally from Fremont, Nebraska, she moved to Oregon specifically to pursue her J.D. at the University of Oregon. Her legal interests include pursuing justice through plaintiff's side civil litigation and political advocacy.
Before law school, Paige worked at a LGBTQ+ advocacy nonprofit called OutNebraska. In the nonprofit sector, she learned the importance of legal knowledge combined with community organizing skills.
Paige also worked as a community organizer and lobbyist for the Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL). Here, she organized lobby visits for constituents in South Dakota and Nebraska to speak directly to their members of Congress on issues such as the Truth and Healing Commission Act, Environmental Justice For All Act, a pathway to citizenship for migrants from all backgrounds, and the expansion of COVID-era social safety net programs.
In her free time Paige likes to play D&D with her friends, beachcomb, go tide-pooling, and attend Thunbar.
Vice-President
Emily is the 2025-2026 Vice President of the Student Bar Association. Originally from Chicago, she was excited to trade city life for Oregon's incredible nature opportunities and the chance to build meaningful connections with her new community.
Emily's journey to law school has been unconventional. They has worked as hiking guide in Yellowstone National Park, a ski tech in Breckenridge, CO and a middle school teacher in Bangkok, Thailand. This "early retirement" chapter helped Emily find what drives them: creating positive change and a community of shared values.
She hopes to use her leadership role in SBA to foster a collaborative community where students feel empowered to work toward justice.
Environmental advocacy has always been close to Emily's heart, and she is passionate about using their legal career to help protect our planet.
In her free time Emily loves all outdoor activities, especially snowboarding and hiking.
Treasurer
Lauren will serve as our Treasurer for the 2025-2026 school year. Lauren comes from San Diego, California.
She maintains a passion for criminal justice reform which led her to law school. Though currently, Lauren is interested in pursuing Immigration Law.
Lauren's goal for SBA this year is to try and provide a more robust outline bank for students to access.
Outside of school, you would find Lauren enjoying time with her dog, Beru, reading, and watching bad reality TV.
Secretary
Kiana will serve as our 2025-2026 Secretary for the Student Bar Association. She is from Las Vegas, Nevada and attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for undergrad, where she majored in English.
Kiana is interested in Environmental Law and is currently pursuing a concentration in Green Business Law. She aims to pursue a career in the implementation of sustainable business practices and help better protect our environment.
Kiana hopes to use her role in SBA to help provide better access to materials and resources for students.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking and appreciating the beauty of nature that the PNW has to offer.
3L Representative
Kyler is one of the 3L representatives for the 2025-2026 school year. Alongside his role on the SBA Leadership Team, he will work with the ASUO as a Justice on the Constitution Court.
He was born and raised in Redding, CA, and attended UC Davis for undergrad. Kyler's legal interests include Constitutional law, legislation, and international law.
Kyler loves going to the coast and refurbishing old video game consoles in his free time.
A couple fun facts about Kyler are that he could recite all the Presidents and First Ladies when he was 5 and he was a competitive Super Smash Bros Melee player in high school.
3L Representative
Ethan is one of the 3L representatives for the 2025-2026 school year. Outside of SBA, Ethan has played a vital role in the law school's American Constitutional Society chapter.
Ethan grew up in the Ozarks and began working on political campaigns in Montana before beginning law school.
He's started a small vinyl record label and enjoys hiking and spending time with his dog Stella.
2L Representative
Eliza is one of the 2L representatives for the 2025-2026 school year. She is from Cheyenne, Wyoming and attended Utah State University for undergrad.
Eliza is interested in pursuing a career in employment law, but she remains open to other options.
Eliza came to law school to be an advocate for those who need one. In her SBA position, she hopes the SBA Leadership Team can foster a trusting relationship with the students and help resolve any issues they may face during their time in law school.
She enjoys skiing, running, mountain biking, and reading.
2L Representative
Luke is one of the 2L representatives for the 2025-2026 school year.
Originally from Dagsboro, Delaware, Luke is excited to serve the 2Ls at Oregon Law. Luke's current legal interests are in family law.
Outside of school, one could find Luke out running, singing karaoke, or watching reality TV.
A goal Luke has for SBA this year is to foster a great relationship between the students and the faculty/staff.
1L Representative
Kirby is one of the 1L representatives for the 2025-2026 school year.
She is originally from Littleton, Colorado and went to the University of Denver for undergrad but has spent the last many years living in Washington, D.C.
Kirby is interested in Sports and Entertainment law, as much of her time outside of school is spent watching sports and catching up on the latest tv shows and movies.
Her SBA goals this year include building community within the 1L class and bridging connections with the upper classes.
A couple fun facts about Kirby are that she has hiked Mt. Kilimanjaro and performed on stage at Red Rocks Amphitheater.
