Welcome to the official user documentation for Optimus Health, your advanced, privacy-first companion for biomechanical analysis, strength training, and holistic health management.
Optimus Health is a production-grade sports analytics application designed to bridge the gap between consumer fitness tracking and professional laboratory analysis. Unlike traditional apps, Optimus Health operates 100% offline, ensuring your biometric data never leaves your device.
Key Benefits:
Zero Cloud Footprint: Absolute privacy for your health data.
Hardware-Driven Insights: Integration with WITMotion sensors for gait and posture analysis.
Comprehensive Metabolism: Accurate BMR, TDEE, and Metabolic Age tracking.
Unified Activity Hub: Consolidate data from Google Health Connect and Apple HealthKit.
When you first launch Optimus Health, the system initializes its local encrypted databases (Hive). You will be prompted to create a local account.
To function at a professional level, the app requires the following:
Bluetooth: Essential for connecting WITMotion sensors in the labs.
Physical Activity: Used to sync steps and activities from your phone's hardware.
Health Connect / HealthKit: Required to import heart rate, sleep, and external workout data.
Storage: Required for generating and reading local backup files (.json).
Your profile is the engine behind our calculations. Accurate data here ensures accurate results in the analytics modules.
Height & Weight: Used for Body Mass Index (BMI) and power-to-weight ratios.
Age & Gender: Crucial for the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation which calculates your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR).
Gender Identity: Dynamically adjusts the 3D anatomical models used in the Muscle Heatmap and Posture Lab.
The Dashboard is a modular control center. Each widget (Card) provides a "glanceable" summary of a specific health vertical.
Health Connect Card: Displays live heart rate, daily steps, and sleep duration imported from external devices.
Muscle Heatmap: A 3D render showing which muscles are fatigued.
Logic: Uses a 72-hour decay curve based on your logged lifts.
Metabolic Summary: Displays your BMR (calories burned at rest) and TDEE (total calories needed today).
Activity Breakdown: A horizontal timeline of every entry logged today.
Fasting Tracker: Shows your current progress in an intermittent fasting window.
You have total control over your Dashboard.
Open the Side Drawer -> Settings -> Dashboard Layout.
Rearrange: Use the drag-handles to move cards up or down.
Visibility: Toggle the switch to hide modules you don't use (e.g., hide Fasting if you don't fast).
Save: Changes are saved instantly to your local profile.
Optimus Health acts as a high-fidelity data aggregator.
Android: Google Health Connect (integrates with Samsung Health, Fitbit, etc.).
iOS: Apple HealthKit (integrates with Apple Watch, Garmin, etc.).
If you wear a Garmin watch and carry your phone, Optimus Health uses a "Minute-Bucket" algorithm. It analyzes step counts in 60-second increments and only counts the highest value from a single source to prevent double-counting.
This module connects the digital app to the physical world via WITMotion sensors (WT9011DCL).
Scanning: Navigate to the Hardware Lab and tap Scan.
Assignment: Assign specific sensors to roles: "Back" for Posture or "Left/Right Leg" for Running.
Persistent Links: Once assigned, the app will remember these hardware IDs for one-tap reconnection in the future.
A professional gait analysis suite. Requires two sensors mounted on the lower shins.
The Lifecycle:
Calibration: Tap "Start Test." Stand still for 5 seconds while the sensors "Zero" their orientation.
Live Metrics:
Cadence: Your steps per minute (Target: 170-180).
Ground Contact Time (GCT): How many milliseconds your foot touches the ground.
Symmetry: Comparison of landing force between left and right legs.
History: Every run is stored as a "Data Trace," allowing you to review your form frame-by-minute later.
Uses a single sensor on the upper back to visualize spinal alignment.
The Biometric Avatar: An on-screen skeleton that mirrors your actual movements.
Baseline Sync: Sit or stand in your "Perfect Posture" and tap Sync Baseline.
Deviation Tracking: The app calculates:
Pitch: Slouching forward.
Roll: Leaning sideways.
Haptic Alerts: If you maintain a poor posture for more than 30 seconds, your device will vibrate to nudge you.
Track lifts across all major muscle groups.
Smart Field Persistence: The app remembers your last used weight and reps for every specific exercise, saving you time during data entry.
Volume Tracking: Automatically calculates "Tonnage" (Sets x Reps x Weight) to drive the Muscle Heatmap.
Custom Exercises: Can’t find an exercise? Go to Settings -> Manage Exercises to add your own with custom muscle targets.
Generate a scientifically backed routine using the Smart Plan Wizard.
Select the Plan tab on the bottom bar.
Tap the Sparkle Icon to launch the wizard.
Define your Goal (e.g., Weight Loss, Endurance, or "Improve Running").
Define your Equipment (Full Gym, Dumbbells, or Bodyweight).
Completion: Tap an exercise in your plan to log it immediately.
Manage your intake using the Meal Tray System.
Search: Choose from a premium database of hundreds of items.
Tray Loading: Add multiple items to your "Tray" (e.g., 200g Chicken + 100g Rice).
Aggregate View: View the combined Protein, Carbs, and Fats before committing the meal to your history.
Custom Foods: Create your own food definitions in Settings -> Food Database.
Because Optimus Health is offline, you are the owner of your data.
Backup: Go to Settings -> Export My Data. This creates a .json file containing your entire history.
Restore: If you switch phones, use the Import Data feature to select your backup file and restore your entire profile instantly.
Auto-Backup: Configure the app to remind you to export data Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
Issue
Solution
Sensor won't connect
Ensure the sensor is charged and not paired to your phone's system Bluetooth settings. It must be paired inside the app.
Health data missing
Open the Health Connect (Android) or Health (iOS) app and ensure Optimus Health has "Read" permissions for all categories.
Graphs are empty
Most graphs require at least two data points on different days to show a trend line.
AI Plan didn't generate
Ensure you have selected at least one "Equipment" type in the wizard.
Pixel Overflow Error
This usually happens on very small devices with high font-scaling. Lower your system font size in Phone Settings.
Is my data shared with anyone? No. There are no servers. Your data stays on your phone.
Do I need the sensors to use the app? No. 90% of features (Strength, Nutrition, Tasks) work perfectly without hardware.
How is "Metabolic Age" calculated? It is a comparison of your BMR and Body Fat % against the statistical health averages for your actual age.
Consistency is Key: Log your weight at the same time every morning for the most accurate BMI trend.
Calibrate Often: In the labs, always re-sync your baseline if you move the sensor's physical position on your body.
Use Auto-Rollover: For your to-do list, keep "Auto-Rollover" on for essential daily habits like "Drink Water" to ensure they never disappear.
