PHOTON FORGE
Photon Forge is an exciting competition that celebrates innovation and creativity in the field of optics. Teams consisting of two to three members are invited to showcase their prototypes that demonstrate principles or applications of light. Whether it's a new optical device, a novel application of light-based technology, or an innovative solution to a real-world problem, Photon Forge provides a platform for teams to demonstrate their ingenuity and technical prowess.

Optical events
Plans to conduct cognitive tasks like quizzes, debates, LASER shows, optical devices assembling, etc on special days such as International Day of Light.
Invited talks
Technical talks delivered by guest speakers and other alumni on topics related to light.
Photography contests
Conducting photography contests and posting the best ones on our annual magazine.
Conducting workshops/symposiums/conferences
Conducting workshops/symposiums/conferences in our Institute. We plan to conduct a technical product-based activity called Mini Optical Fest during our technical festival(VASHISHT).
School Visit
Visit various schools and spread the word on how light can create wonders in various fields. Delivering simpler lessons to the students to understand different phenomena of light.
COLLABORATION WITH NEARBY OSA CHAPTERS
Developing a network with other OSA student chapters from a smaller range and spreading it wider as much as possible by conducting competitions collectively(inter-student chapter competitions).
