This Privacy Policy (hereinafter – the “Policy”, the “Regulation”) is drawn up by the developers of the mobile application Opora (hereinafter – the “Application”, the “Mobile Application”, “we”, the “Developer”), who are its owners, and describes what data we collect, how we use, transfer and protect it when the Mobile Application is used.
The Opora Application is a mobile Android application that provides users with access to legal documents of Ukraine from open official sources, as well as additional functions: semantic search, AI assistant, premium services by subscription. We do not sell legal documents; we provide services: search, AI assistant, premium access, etc.
The Opora Application does not store personal data (except for that which is processed automatically upon installation and use of mobile applications) of users within the meaning of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” (hereinafter – the “Law”) and is governed by this Law.
You give your consent to comply with the provisions of this Privacy Policy when installing and using the Mobile Application. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not install and do not use the Application.
We may from time to time supplement or otherwise amend the Regulation without prior notice. By using the Application you give your consent to the introduction of amendments to the Policy without obtaining any special confirmation from you.
We do not collect data that allow a person to be directly identified (such as name, email, phone number, etc.).
Certain technical data (device identifiers, analytical IDs, crash logs, text queries, etc.) may be considered personal data within the meaning of the legislation; however, we process them only for the technical provision of the operation of the service, analytics and support, and do not use them to identify the user.
We collect information about the use of the Application — screens, functions, duration of sessions, query logs, error events — via Mixpanel and Firebase Analytics for the purpose of improving the product.
Using Firebase Crashlytics, we receive log track, device model, OS version, stack traces in order to diagnose and correct errors.
When a subscription is purchased through Google Play Billing (managed via Apphud), we receive the information necessary for the provision of premium features (subscription status, period, automatic renewal). We do not collect payment details or card numbers.
Advertisements may be displayed in the Application. Advertising networks may collect device identifiers (Advertising ID), usage signals and contextual data for the personalization of advertising.
For users who use the AI assistant, text queries are transmitted to an external artificial intelligence provider for processing and forming a response. We transmit to the provider only the text/context that you have sent in the query.
External AI providers may temporarily store or use such queries for their own purposes (including the training of models) in accordance with their own privacy policies. The conditions of processing and retention periods are determined by these providers. OpenAI, Google or others may be used as external providers, and this list may change without prior notice.
We may use the texts of your queries to the AI assistant for analytics in Mixpanel, in particular for:
• improving the accuracy of the AI assistant;
• improving interaction algorithms;
• detecting technical problems.
Text data are not used to identify a person or for marketing purposes.
We recommend that you do not send in queries to the AI assistant personal data, sensitive information or any information that you do not wish to be processed in external services.
For users who use local search by documents, all text queries are processed locally on your device and are not transmitted to external AI providers. The texts of such queries are not used for the training of AI models.
We may use the texts of your local queries for analytics in Mixpanel, in particular for:
• improving the accuracy of local search;
• improving interaction algorithms;
• detecting technical problems.
Text data are not used to identify a person or for marketing purposes.
We recommend that you do not send in queries to the local search by documents personal data, sensitive information or any information that you do not wish to be processed in external services.
We do not require registration, do not collect name, email, logins and other information for the basic service. You may voluntarily provide an email for support, but this is not mandatory.
We use the collected data to:
• provide and support the service (search, access to documents, AI assistant);
• monitor, analyze and improve functions and user experience;
• process subscriptions and manage premium features;
• display and personalize advertising;
• communicate with the user (support, updates), if you have provided contact information.
All legal documents available in the Application are obtained from official open state sources of Ukraine and are provided for reference only. We emphasize that our service is not the sale of content, but the provision of tools (search, AI assistant, etc.) for access to and navigation through documents.
Advertising may be displayed in the Application. For advertising purposes, we or our partners may use device identifiers and usage signals. You may opt out of personalized advertising through the Android device settings, but you may still receive non-personalized advertising.
Advertising IDs are not linked to your person and can be reset through Android settings.
We transfer data to third-party providers only to the extent necessary for them to perform their services, in particular:
• Google Play Billing / Apphud (subscription management)
• Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics)
• Mixpanel (analytics)
• Advertising networks (for advertising)
• External AI providers (for processing AI assistant queries)
We do not sell or lease your personal data to third parties for marketing.
Analytical and crash data are stored by third-party services (Firebase, Mixpanel) in accordance with their policies.
We do not store AI queries on our servers.
The email that you voluntarily send to the support service is used only for replying and is not stored longer than necessary.
We apply standard technical and organizational security measures, including encryption of communications and restriction of access to data, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
You have the right to:
• request what data are collected;
• demand deletion of data, if this is technically possible;
• opt out of personalized advertising through Android settings;
• withdraw consent to the use of data by stopping the use of the Application.
The Application is intended for users aged 18 and over.
We may update this Policy at any time. In the event of significant changes, we will update the date above and may notify users (for example, through an update of the application). Continued use of the Application after such changes is considered acceptance of the updated Version.
In case of inconsistency between versions of the Policy, the Ukrainian version shall prevail.
