Closed Loop Preference Cards

Closed Loop Surgeon Owned Preference Cards and Flows

In-ability for a Surgeon to own the Cards used in their procedures is the reason frustration within a Procedure room runs rampant. Ownership of the Card alone is not enough. OpFlow collects card feedback during the procedure for unused items, pulled items, delay details. Feedback is summarized within the Card and allows the surgeon to take feedback from anyone that uses the card to optimize the Card. Feedback for process changes and ways to remove the tension in the room is the key for Continuous Improvement. OpFlow aligns the entire Surgical Team, Administration and Operations to create Operative Flows that produce the best results.

With Value Based Services looming accountability on the Hospital to be cost effective in ensuring outcomes is imperative. Currently Surgeons and Administration are not actively managing the cost per procedure. OpFlow shows the cost per procedure and compares other Surgeons’ card for the same procedure. Hospitals must begin actively managing the Operative Flow or risk losing money in each operation.
