Since 1992 we’ve come together to:

Support each other socially and therapeutically
Discuss our challenges and explore ways to overcome them
Share stories and coping strategies
Advocate for more awareness in our community

Why "OPAL"?

Opals are pearlescent gemstones made of many blended colours. An opal was adopted to represent the members of our group, as we each cope with many different situations and circumstances in our lives.

We also use the heart shape and icons of people with different abilities as symbols of caring and our togetherness.
