We are looking for a Doctoral Researcher to join TU Dortmund Lehrstuhl für Nachrichtentechnik for a period of three years as a full-time employee with all great benefits provided via TVL E13.
Your Tasks:
Further qualification in the form of a doctorate (Dr.-Ing.)
Conducting research in the field of digital communications, ISAC, and coding theory
Supervision of Bachelor’s and Master’s theses, laboratory courses, and partial support of teaching activities.

Your Qualifications:
An above-average university degree (Master’s/Diploma) in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or a related field
Solid knowledge of digital communications and hands-on skills in MIMO-OFDM signal processing
Proficiency in Matlab and Python for algorithm prototyping and evaluation, with strong software practices on Linux
Preferably, the basics of ISAC and/or physical layer security
Strong analytical thinking skills, versatility, initiative-taking, and the ability to conduct independent scientific research
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in an interdisciplinary working environment, with a high level of willingness to cooperate
Very good command of English, both spoken and written
Good German language skills are an advantage, but not mandatory

This is a position that requires a limited amount of teaching for the Lehrstuhl für Nachrichtentechnik (Institute of Communications), which has multiple courses in German and English.
