If you think playgrounds are just for kids, think again! On our latest O-N-T Journey stop, we headed straight from a high-end happy hour at Morton’s Steakhouse to the most colorful, high-energy spot on the Strip: Play Playground at Luxor.
What is Play Playground?
Located inside the Luxor Hotel & Casino, Play Playground is a 15,000-square-foot "immersive playground." It’s not about VR or sitting at a screen—it's about physically playing. Imagine a world filled with giant slides, massive building blocks, and interactive games that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a live-action game show.

Our Experience: From Steakhouse to Slides
As we mentioned in our latest vlog, we were definitely the most casually dressed people at Morton's because we knew exactly where we were headed next.
We aren't heavy eaters, so after our light "Bar Bites" dinner, we had the perfect amount of energy to tackle the games. The atmosphere is vibrant, neon, and honestly, just pure joy. Whether you're traveling as a couple like us, or with a group of friends, it’s impossible not to smile the moment you walk in.
🏨 Stay Nearby: If you want to stay at the Luxor or nearby on the Strip, check out the best rates on Booking.com or Hotels.com.
The Highlights:
Physical Games: No controllers here! You’re jumping, climbing, and moving to win points.
The Aesthetic: Every corner is a photo op. The neon lights and giant obstacles are perfect for your Instagram feed.
Adult-Friendly: While it's great for families during the day, it turns into a 21+ "nightlife" playground in the evenings with a full bar!
O-N-T Journey Pro-Tips:
Dress Comfortably: We wore our playground gear to dinner for a reason! You’ll be moving around a lot, so skip the heels and tight suits.
Go Early: If you want the best photos without the crowds, try to hit it on a weekday evening like we did.
Travel Smart: If you're flying in for the weekend, compare the best flight deals on CheapOair.
