WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: Stories are powerful. So is music. Today they give you instant engagement with your students. In this workshop, Louise will show you accessible ways to turn a very simple folktale “The Little Hummingbird” into a captivating, cohesive performance for Grade 1-3 students. The original dialogue, songs and chants are easily adapted to suit any group, regardless of size or ability.
In the second part of the workshop, Louise will paired some well-known Chinese folksongs with an original stroy line. It is her passion to share these songs she learned in her childhood with everyone! This part of the workshop is targeted towards Grade 4-6.
