The creation of a happy, healthy and prosperous town.

The Community Action Committee of Irvine Meadow Community Club CIC was created in 2016 in order to achieve our Aim (as stated above); for the sake of brevity, the Committee adopted the name onsideirvine. We have set out nine objectives, which we believe will help us to achieve our aim, these are:

1. to attract more funding for community groups and community-led projects in Irvine

2. to support the work of community groups with our technical skills and contact networks

3. to involve more young people in community work

4. to develop our own economic, sports, cultural and social development projects

5. to support the local business community

6. to promote Irvine regionally, nationally and internationally

7. to support the wishes of the community to have more local control over public services in Irvine

8. to manage: the Facebook page for the town’s expats, Irvine International; The Irvine Archive (an online collection of donated photographs, films and documents); Irvine Television (a You Tube Channel, established in February 2020, with a view to promoting the Royal Burgh, its communities and businesses); and Irvine Sound (a platform for podcasts and other forms of audio production).

9. to jointly deliver, with the Academy of Imagineering (a), the six projects of the Rising Tide programme (see dedicated page)
