One-Day Function Theory Meeting

We are pleased to announce that the One Day Function Theory Meeting will take place on Monday the 7th of September 2026.

The intention is to hold the meeting at De Morgan House, 57-58 Russel Square, London, WC1B 4HS. Information about previous meetings can be found on the menu on the left-hand side of the website. Here, you can also find a recounting of the meeting’s origins by David Brannan.

The meeting is open to everyone, but please note that there is a registration fee of 10£, if possible to be paid in cash on the day. Retired and unemployed mathematicians are exempt. There will be limited funding for travel expenses of PhD students who lack other means of support. 

The speakers of the One Day Function theory meeting 2026 will be:

• Mikhail Hlushchanka (University of Amsterdam),

• Holly Krieger (University of Cambridge),

• Gwyneth Stallard (The Open University).

The 2026 meeting will be organised by Nikolai Prochorov and Lasse Rempe at the University of Manchester.
