The group of Probability and Statistics (P&S) of the Center for Research & Development in Mathematics and Aplications (CIDMA), University of Aveiro, promotes a One-Day Meeting on Advanced Statistic Topics (oneMAST). 

The main purpose of this face-to-face meeting is to foster researchers working on advanced topics in statistics to share their work and to strengthen links among them. For that, two Contributed Sessions will be held and organized as pitch oral presentations (complemented with poster exhibition) to promote discussion among participants. Full details here.

This second edition of the oneMAST will also be an opportunity to discuss the key ways in which statistics supports and enhances machine learning by offering three talks with internationally renowned invited researchers and a round table to encourage discussion among participants. The venue will be the Department of Mathematics of the University of Aveiro.
