On your first day, you will have a buddy who will guide you through all the ins and outs of DEPT®, give the A’s to your Q’s, and will support you during the first weeks. You will also receive an invite for the DEPT® NL Induction Day, where you will learn about our structure, values and (NL-relevant) practical info.

On your first day you will be able to login to the NS Go App (using your DEPT® email address) and order your NS business card. You will also be able to declare your public transport costs you've made on your personal OV chip card in the App.

Q: Is there parking available at the offices?
A: If you choose to go by car: there’s free parking available in Rotterdam, and in Amsterdam you can use your Parkmobile App, but please be aware of the high parking costs (€4,50 cent per hour). Therefore, we highly recommend you to come to the office by public transport or bike. However, you can declare parking costs once a week, for coming to the office by car.
Q: What can I expect for my first day?
A: One week before your starting date, People & Culture will reach out to you, providing you with all necessary information to get you started! (Also, take a look at the introductory period page in the handbook.
