Rehistro Mindoro 2022 is a youth-led non-partisan coalition or movement of youth organizations in the island of Mindoro. Rehistro Mindoro is spearheaded and convened by the Oriental Mindoro Society of Young Parliamentarians and Humans Helping Humans 3H Initiative. Together with its partners, this coalition of youth leaders, organizations and volunteers aims to encourage Mindoreños, young and old, who are eligible but not yet registered to register to the Commission on Elections. More importantly, it aims to educate voters to participate in a values-oriented and principles -based elections.
Through RM2022, we were able to capacitate and mobilize 300 youth volunteers, and helped register 7,580 new Mindoreño voters for the 2022 National and Local Elections.
Kwentong Mindoro is the official title of the short episodes of online kwentuhan and usapan of youth volunteers and leaders that will tackle their views, ideas and opinions on social issues and anything under the sun. Without a structured program flow and script, participants are free to express themselves and share stories of hope, love, volunteerism and inspiration.
For the two episodes held, we were able to invite ten local youth organizations, and reached more than 3,000 viewers.
Ang Kwento ni Juan Tamad na Naging Juan Tama is a special advocacy film produced as part of Rehistro Mindoro's campaign for active participation in electoral process and good governance. Together with our local theatre group partner, Ora et Labora Group, with SK Camilmil, Calapan City and Rehistro Mindoro Productions, we were able to showcase a 30-minute full length film advocating for everyone's involvement in voter's registration and voting for the right leader.
During its premier night, we have reached more than 6,000 people. The short film was also shown in selected churches or chapels.
Piso4Mindoro is the community relief program of OMSYP that provides relief assistance to Mindoreno victims of typhoons, flooding, and other natural disasters or calamities from asking for at least one peso. It was launched in September 2020 during the onslaught of typhoons Quinta and Rolly and has ever since been providing relief goods to fellow Mindorenos in times of needs.
In 2020, we have gathered around P100,000 pesos that provided packed goods to around 200 families in Pola, Oriental Mindoro from the contributions of generous Mindorenos.

With our partnership with Keep Hope Alive Inc., OMSYP was able to take part in the Farmers to Families Initiative which made it possible to buy local produce of Mindoreño farmers and donate these fresh products to families in need. In this way, we were able to help the livelihood of our local farmers and eased the hunger of our fellow Mindoreños during the time of the pandemic.
FFI was launched in May 2020 and has reached more than 2,000 families, stranded individuals, displaced workers and informal settlers, and helped the livelihood of at least 500 farmers.
