Fundraising directly supports educational activities and opportunities that we otherwise could not afford. Where the funds are allotted is an agenda item each month. Our teachers make an annual "wish list" of technology, books, equipment, presentations, field trips, and we aim to fund as much as possible. We have purchased technology (Chromebooks, charging station, iPads), musical instruments (inluding repairs, replacement, and storage), tarmac and sportsfield repairs, gyro-sphere STEM robots, physcial education equipment, two water bottle refill stations, recess equipment, and more.
In 2020 our fundrasing efforts made up close to one third (33%) of our schools operating budget.
Funds earned through our AGLC events are bound by restrictions of use Use of Gaming Proceeds.
Davison Orchard Farms
We are excited to partner with Davison Farms in BC for an apple case fundraiser.
Order via PowerSchools - student fees by We earned nearly $1000 from this fundraiser this year and plan to run it again next fall.
The student to sell the most cases wins a T-shirt.
Boston Pizza Earn back Program.
Please ask for a TILL RECEIPT with your order. Any delivery service (like UBEREats) or online orders will not be sent with a till receipt and void for this fundraiser.
Helping our school fundraise has never been easier. Ask for your itemized receipts from your family or team dinners at BP's in and around Edmonton then submit them to our office. We earn a portion of the total. Easy.

Operation Education: We earn between $100-250 per term with this fundraiser and all you have to do is bring you BPs till receipt (not the credit card one) to the office. If you've ever brought a team to BPs for dinner our fundraiser could really use your receipts.
We tally it up twice per year Sept 1-Dec 31 and then again Jan 1-June 29. Mrs. Lewis has an envelope for us and we've claimed our rebate for a few years now. Thanks to Calgary Trail BP's for being our home base.
Salisbury Greenhouses
This year we ordered Poinsettias, Tropical Floral Arrangements, and gift cards from Salisbury Greenhouses before Christmas. Deadline to order is November 19, 2021
Gift cards are in denominations of $25 and get sent directly to your home. Poinsettia pick up is December 1, 2021 2:30-3:15PM from the school. Red, White, Jingle Bells and Christmas Gardens will be wrapped appropriately.
Christmas Concert Front Row Contest
In non-COVID years, we have a contest to try to win front row reserved seats to watch the Christmas Concert, watch for it in December (when we're allowed to be in the school again)
Papa John's Family Pizza Nights
For 2021-2022 use the code OLMC25 to earn you 25% off your regular priced items and it will earn our school a 10% rebate. It makes a great cold pizza lunch for Friday! Papa Johns sent us an earnings cheque for 2020-21 nearly $300 for enjoying delicious pizza once a month. Pencil it into your calendar: every third Thursday of the month, same nights as our school council meetings!

Silent Auction at the Family Dance
In non-COVID years, the School Council hosts a family dance in February. This is fun way to build community and have fun. The Fundraising Society hosts a Silent Auction to earn funds for a current project and showcase our talented families and local businesses. If you or someone you know, would be interested in supporting our school by donating a skill, item, or gift certificate, please let us know. Healthy Hunger Hot Lunch Program
Healthy Hunger is one fundraiser we run all year long. Once a month, our students have an opportunity to order a hot lunch which is organized through parent hot lunch coordinator (thank you Therese). This year we're hoping to utilize vendors that pre-label and pre-sort our students so parents are not needed in the building to organize the classes or deliver.
This program is a nationwide program with over 200 schools using the program in the Edmonton area alone. This service provider offers our school some very keen features; allowing us to make things more efficient and with no annual fees, as it is free of charge.

Education Station
Last year Education Station gave us a code for online shopping of their curated list of toys and STEM products. OLMC earned a cash back cheque of only $15 because the program was too short and too late to be of use.
Shop local and support OLMC. Education Station invites your families and friends to shop with this custom link which will take you to a curated list of products for children ages 1-12. You can also shop anywhere on the Education Station website, before November 30!

Other guidelines to note-
1. The Fundraising code can be used to purchase any item in the link as well as other items on our website. Some items are exempt from this promotion including sale/clearance items, furniture, carpets and other large items.
2. The Fundraising code OLMSCHOOL MUST be present on the web order as an identifier so OLMC will get credit for the sale and rebate.
3. There will be a ‘no return’ policy on all items purchased with a Fundraising Code because the
we will receive the 15% rebate.
4. The Fundraising Code will not be valid on our website after midnight Nov. 30, 2021.
5. Depending on the response items may sell out and be removed from the list or replaced with a new item as stock allows. Education Station will adjust items at their discretion. If an item is ordered that is out of stock they will contact you directly to see if you would like a substitution or refund.
6. This is a website Fundraiser only and will not be valid for in-store shopping.
7. At check-out you can choose in store or curbside pick-up for either store location, or for a small charge you can have your order shipped directly to your home.
Art Cards By Kids
We particpate in these sweet blank inside cards with your child's art on the cover twice per year. Watch their backpacks for a sample card with all the ordering info. This fundraiser earns us 40% back to the school - so offer it to loved ones who always send thank yous or Christmas cards. We've used them for birthdays and teacher gifts too. They're adorable, gifts will be mailed out before Christmas holidays and sent home with your child.
