I am a Hope Street Postdoctoral Research Fellow and, by courtesy, a Provost's STEM Postdoctoral Fellow at Brown University. I am affiliated primarily with the Breuer Lab and the Harris Lab.
My current research seeks to uncover the principles governing coordinated motion: how organisms and engineered agents exploit fluid environments, communicate through flow-mediated or biological couplings, and organize into coherent structures.
I obtained my Ph.D. in mathematics from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU in May 2025, advised by Leif Ristroph in the Applied Math Lab. My dissertation research used a combination of modeling, simulation and experiment to explore levitation dynamics and flow-structure interactions at intermediate Reynolds numbers.Â
I obtained my B.S. (Applied and Computational Mathematics major with English minor) from Caltech in 2020.
