I am a Hope Street Postdoctoral Research Fellow and, by courtesy, a Provost's STEM Postdoctoral Fellow at Brown University. I am affiliated primarily with the Breuer Lab.
My research focuses on the development of minimal mathematical models and computational simulations of problems inspired by physical and biological phenomena. Such problems broadly involve themes of propulsion, flow-structure interactions, actuated mechanics and materials, collective behavior, and vortex dynamics.
I obtained my Ph.D. in mathematics at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU in May 2025, advised by Leif Ristroph in the Applied Math Lab. My dissertation research used a combination of modeling, simulation and experiment to explore levitation dynamics and flow-structure interactions at intermediate Reynolds numbers.
I obtained my B.S. (Applied and Computational Mathematics major with English minor) from Caltech in 2020.
