From the advice of my tutor, I decided to start revising and doing more complex designs. I realized that this is critical, I have to do this. I really need to get on my game, I had it before so I need to regain it.
I still wanted to do the lantern planter with perhaps a simple plant inside. I like this because it's an easier angular type of design, but gives me a lot of practice to work with polygonal modelling and making something comparatively simple with more details.
I also laid out the layers of the succulent, which I plan to model and then duplicate and resize them to construct the plant. In my mind this will work, but I'll just have to work with it to see. If all else fails, I'll model a candle and put that in there instead.
The fainting couch, on the advise of my tutor would be nice to attempt because of the amount of smoother curvature that it has. The spiral, especially is a nice challenge to work through. For this one I focus more on layering, and really smoothing that down.
My only concern is that I have is that it just isn't detailed enough, but this stylistically fits with Animal Crossing.
The last is a nightstand that initially started as a wardrobe. I suppose it still could work as one, however, this seems like a nice pick for me because of the grafted metal decor and more elaborate body structure. Along with that, I will have to make it so that the drawer itself can move out and in, and the handle for the drawer is also movable. I'm actually really excited and intrigued about how I'm going to do this.
