Historical images of the destruction of Dresden on February 13, 1945 from the stock of the
Deutsche Fotothek are overlaid with photos from Russia's current war against the Ukraine.
The collages can be read as a haunting artistic appeal to humanity and empathy. Point of No
Return marks the longing for peace, freedom and historical truthfulness. Before fleeing to
Germany, Oleksandra Kulikovska (*2002) was a psychology student at the University of
