Working with Schools & Educators 

The Old Mill Stables Equestrian Centre works with local Schools, Academies, Youth Groups and Cornwall Council officers to offer alternative educational and development provisions, to suit individual needs. In recent years OMS has worked with a number of institutions including:

Individual or small group sessions are available on a daily or weekly basis, such as the Students enrolled on the BHS "Changing Lives through Horses" programmes. CltH Page Link

OMS operates shorter programmes that can be tailored around full/half term durations (6/12 weeks etc). 

In addition Special Programmes can be put together for shorter events comprising of larger numbers, such as School Activities Weeks. 

The 2023 End of Year Activities Week - OMS hosted a group of ~30 students/staff for 5 days from Camborne Science and International Acadamy

OMS Staff are DBS checked, First Aid trained and have undertaken Safeguarding Awareness courses alongside their equestrian training.
