The Oxford Latin American Graduate Network (OLAGN) is an interdisciplinary organisation dedicated to fostering intellectual exchange among graduate students working on Latin America related topics, primarily within the humanities and social sciences. Founded in 2019, the Network has become a central contributor to the academic and cultural life surrounding Latin American Studies in Oxford. Alongside its established graduate seminar series, the Network organises film screenings, roundtables, and collaborative academic events that encourage multidisciplinary dialogue, critical thinking and networking.

This workshop is organised in collaboration with the International Latin American Graduate Network (ILAGN) at Freie Universität Berlin and Lateinamerika Institut Berlin, with whom OLAGN has developed an ongoing academic partnership since 2020. Members of the ILAG network are contributing both to the organisation of the event and to its academic programme, fostering an interdisciplinary dialogue and exchange between graduate researchers working on Latin America across Oxford and Berlin.
