‘Artistry in Wood’ is the Club’s annual show and sale is open to the public, and brings local and regional artisans works of art in wood to be judged, put on display, and sold.
Woodcarving Classes
NOTE: Space is limited and reserved with a non-refundable payment. If you cannot attend the class, we will do our best to find a replacement. Pay attention to the Member pricing and Non-member pricing. (Remember, an Annual Club Membership is $24).
Club members participate in demonstrations throughout the year at various locations in the OKC area. Some of the favorites are the Spring Arts Fair in Downtown OKC and the Oklahoma State Fair. Members congregate weekly at various locations to carve, visit, and help newer carvers. Some of these are; MWC Sr. Center – Mon. pm, Edmond Sr. Center – Thurs. pm, Church of the Servant – Monday. evening. Click here for updated carve-in location list.
OCWC Woodcarving Class Offerings
2023 Oct 5,6,7, 2023 Payments due Sept 1, 2023 - Only Three OPENINGS AVAILABLE as of 09/20/2023.
COST: $210 for members, $235 for non-members. (Price does not include cost of wood.)
Good for beginners. This is a 3 day class and you can carve anything you want. Vic specializes in anything using cottonwood bark or Butternut. Vic will be bringing wood for the class!

Chris Hammack - We commonly need 8-10 people to make a class. Chris is currently offering online classes.
Debbe Edwards (8 min class size) - Debbe is a wildlife woodcarver and one of our regular outside instructors.
