Pre-Audition Meeting: Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 7:00 PM (OHS Little Theater)
Both the dancer and his or her parent/guardian should attend this meeting. Any auditioning student and his or her parents/guardians will be held responsible for the information shared at the meeting, which will include program philosophy, financial commitment, schedules, expectations, and audition format.
Audition Workshop: Wednesday, May 6, 2026, 3:30-5:00 PM (OHS Dance Studio, Room 1222)
Dancers must attend the audition workshop in order to learn the required audition sequences. They should be prepared with: movement attire (no midriffs showing), appropriate shoes (Ballroom shoes; or a dress shoe for guys/a heeled, strapped shoe like a character shoe for ladies), and a water bottle. The audition will include both Latin and Standard movement.
Auditions: Thursday, May 7, 2026, 3:30-5:00 PM (OHS Dance Studio, Room 1222)
The audition itself will take place in small groups on Thursday afternoon. Dancers will have time to check-in and warm-up, and then will rotate in and out of the dance studio for their auditions slots.Â
Casting Notice
All auditioning dancers will receive an email by Sunday night with the results of their audition. The 2026-2027 Team list will be posted publicly on Monday, May 11. The Orientation Meeting for the newly cast team will be held on Tuesday, May 19.
