Beginner Group Lessons

Want to get started with archery and don't know where to begin? Try one of our beginner lessons from our certified archery coaches! No prior experience is necessary, we will teach you the basics including:

• Range safety,

• Equipment basics,

• Archery form and execution.

After this class, you will be safe and confident with shooting a basic recurve bow. We supply all the equipment you need. This class (or a private session or checkout) is a prerequisite for club membership.

Classes are Saturday mornings, and last for 90minutes. These classes are for adults (15+). We have other programs available for kids. Look for "Beginner Archery Lesson" in the schedule below. Reservations are required.

No refunds after 24hours before the class start time.

Beginner II Series

Build on your early learning with this 4-class series, where we’ll focus on the critical steps for developing a solid archery form foundation, in a smaller class setting. 

• Shooting type: Recurve

• Prerequisite: Beginner I class

• Ages 10+

• What to bring: We provide everything needed though you’re welcome to bring your own equipment if you have it.

• Limited to 10 archers

Our Beginner II Series is designed to progress skills and knowledge each week through consistent commitment. Therefore, Beginner II classes are not sold separately. If you miss a class, you may continue with the series; if you’d like to schedule a make-up session, please work directly to do so with the coach for an additional fee.

Private Lessons

Several coaches operate at our facility, and can offer private lessons. Many of the coaches also offer small group lessons. Each coach maintains their own schedule, and sets their own rates. Group Events

Have your next corporate or group event at Ohlone Archery! We have several coaches who are available for events during the week. The facility has everything needed for a safe and fun group archery experience. The instructors listed below specifically are available for group events. Contact the instructor to find out more, and to make arrangements.
