Victor Chia

Victor Chia is a USA Archery (USAA) Level 4-NTS coach and has trained at the Olympic Training Centers in Colorado Springs and Chula Vista. Victor is a USAA Junior Dream Team coach and was a USA International Team Staff Coach at the World Archery Indoor Championship, Ankara, Turkey in 2016. Victor is the head coach of U.C. Berkeley Archery Academy JOAD and Chia Archery JOAD. Before coaching Olympic recurve, Victor was ranked #1 in Masters Compound Division in California in 2006, 2008 and 2011.

Victor’s coaching philosophy is to provide a fun and safe archery experience for all ages and levels. Coach Victor complements our coaching staff by offering his USA national coaching experience to archers wanting to achieve State and National ranking. Victor’s offerings include:

Private lessons for Olympic recurve archers wanting advanced NTS (National Training System) form and technique training. One or two archer per coach is acceptable.

Group training on Sundays for mental and tournament (stress) training. This is by invitation only and requires a private lesson audition.

USA Archery Level 3-NTS coach certification.
