Representatives from our One Health Estonia team — Deep Bhattacharya, Sébastien Langui, and Evgeniy Brik — participated in the 32nd Maamess, held in Tartu from 23–25 April, where they showcased their research activities to a wide and diverse audience.
As part of the Estonian University of Life Sciences exhibition area, the team engaged with visitors on a broad range of topics, including animal health, food and feed science, aquaculture, veterinary biomedicine, and the One Health approach. Researchers, students, and practitioners jointly presented their work, highlighting the interdisciplinary nature of ongoing research.
With over 40,000 visitors and around 450 exhibitors from nine countries, Maamess once again proved to be one of the most important agricultural sector events in the region. The event provided a valuable opportunity to share expertise, strengthen collaborations, and emphasize the essential role of science in supporting One Health.
