We are pleased to announce that our article, written by Prof. Alireza Fazeli and Suranga Kodithuwakku, on the One Health concept has been published in the Estonian daily newspaper Õhtuleht. The piece highlights the close interconnection between human, animal, and environmental health, and the importance of protecting them together.
The article addresses:
the risks of zoonotic diseases such as COVID-19 and African swine fever,
the impact of climate change on the spread of diseases,
challenges linked to migration and biosecurity,
the importance of reducing environmental chemical risks.
